Start with the basics: learning movements, understanding the equipment and knowing what you’re practising. You don’t need any gym experience to enquire.
Ask questions, take time to learn and say when something is unfamiliar. My focus is helping you understand what you’re doing, so training feels less daunting.
Training needs to fit around your life. Tell me about your schedule so we can consider a starting point you can make time for.
Your goals set the direction. You might want to learn to lift, feel stronger or return to exercise after a long break. We’ll start with what matters to you.

We’ll discuss the coaching approach, session format, location, fees and current availability before you decide.
You can ask questions and decide whether training with me suits your starting point.
Start by being clear about what you want help with. You don’t need a complicated routine on day one. If you’re speaking with a trainer, ask how they teach beginners, explain movements and decide what to work on first.
I only started strength training in my 50s. That’s one reason I want to make the starting point feel more approachable for other women.
Tell your trainer what worries you—using equipment, getting a movement wrong or feeling watched. Ask them to explain what a session involves before you arrive. Knowing what to expect can make the first visit feel less unfamiliar.
You can ask me these questions before deciding to train together.
Check her qualification, ask about her approach to beginners and explain what you’re looking for. Find out where sessions take place, what they cost and whether the schedule works for you. Pay attention to whether you feel comfortable asking questions.
I’m an NCSF Certified Personal Trainer. My certificate is available above, and you’re welcome to ask about my approach before committing.
Before your first session, tell me about your training experience and what you want help with. Ask where we’ll meet, what to bring and what we’ll work on. I’ll confirm the session details with you before you book.
It’s fine to ask for explanations or say that something is unfamiliar.
Message me to ask about current training locations in Singapore, session options, fees and availability. We’ll confirm these details before you book.
Tell me what you’d like help with and whether you’ve trained before.
